SurfaceType
Racing surface a race is run on. Turf is the default for UK/IE outdoor fixtures; the synthetic surfaces (Polytrack, Tapeta, Fibresand) correspond to specific all-weather courses (Kempton/Lingfield, Wolverhampton/Newcastle, Southwell respectively).

POLYTRACK | Polytrack synthetic surface (Kempton, Lingfield, Chelmsford, Dundalk). |
FIBRESAND | Fibresand synthetic surface (Southwell). |
TAPETA | Tapeta synthetic surface (Wolverhampton, Newcastle). |
EQUITRACK | Equitrack synthetic surface. Legacy, rarely seen. |
DIRT | Dirt track (common in US, Dubai, etc.). |
SAND | Sand surface. |
